For the AM lineup (Foxy Carbon and Raze Carbon), the visual design was already performing strongly. The goal wasn’t reinvention, but evolution. As with every model year, the priority was to refresh the color range with intention. That process began by mapping the entire competitive landscape to understand what riders see when considering a new bike. Market research doesn’t give direct answers, but it frames the choices, the context, and the expectations of someone comparing Mondraker to every viable alternative.
MARKET MAPPING
We explored the market’s color choices to see where the industry feels crowded and where there’s space to stand out. This helped us define which tones should lead our range, reinforce the Mondraker identity, and express innovation.

TREND FORECASTING
Working with WGSN grounded decisions in both current patterns and emerging shifts. By classifying tones as explore, invest, or cut, we guided each model toward forward-looking colors that still met rider expectations for the full season.

COLOR DEVELOPMENT
After setting the strategy, we reviewed market color weights, intensities, and tolerances. Partnering with the printing workshop ensured finishes were technically sound, true to intent, and ready for production.

The Foxy Carbon and Raze Carbon project was a masterclass in strategic color design. It required understanding the market, anticipating trends, and shaping a palette that balanced commercial logic with brand expression. The result is a lineup that feels contemporary yet distinctly Mondraker, built on research, clarity, and a clear creative vision.
