Evolving the Arid Carbon for 2026 meant redefining what a gravel bike should look and feel like, while simultaneously launching an entirely new customization strategy.

In its second year, the Arid Carbon entered a crucial phase. With the launch of CSP, riders could finally choose components and colors independently, breaking away from traditional model-linked limitations. This required a fresh strategic mindset and a refined visual approach. We removed textures, cleaned up the graphics, and aligned the bike with the season’s more modern, seamless aesthetic, while ensuring it still felt authentically gravel and unmistakably Mondraker.

COLOR SELECT PROGRAM

CSP meant designing colors that worked across the entire range. Every option needed broad appeal, strong identity, and accurate forecasting to avoid stock challenges.

BALANCED IDENTITY

The Arid is the mountain biker’s gravel bike, but it still needed to live within the gravel category. We balanced the brand’s DNA with the more lifestyle-driven expectations of gravel, creating an evolution that feels both bold and credible.

COLOR STRATEGY

With orders depending on color rather than model price, every tone had to perform visually and commercially. Close collaboration with the sales team allowed us to define a palette that felt modern, diverse, and aligned with real market demand.

COLOR STRATEGY

The 2026 Arid Carbon project was one of the most strategically engaging assignments I worked on. It combined design rigor, commercial insight, and the science of color in a way few projects do. The outcome is a lineup that riders connect with instantly and one that strengthens Mondraker’s presence in the gravel segment.
